How to Join Our UGC Program

Method 1: Post your content on your Facebook or Instagram account with hashtags #Whamo #WhamoVibes and tag @whamoofficial. *The post must set "Public" on post privacy setting

Method 2: Send your content to Wham-O's official social media accounts directly via Messager or Instagram Message with hashtags #Whamo #WhamoVibes.

Don't forget to update the privacy setting of your Facebook or Instagram account to allow @whamoofficial to tag or mention you and give you credit!

Wham-O’s Grant of Usage License

  1. User Generated Content (UGC) License – A Creator grants a Content License to Wham-O’s by (1) including hashtags #Whamo #WhamoVibes and tagging @whamoofficial in a publicly viewable open social caption/comment where the Content was originally posted or (2) sending the Content to Wham-O’s official social accounts with hashtags #Whamo #WhamoVibes. Content is created by a submitted, posted, displayed, or shared post or direct message to Wham-O through his or her personal social media platforms. Unless otherwise indicated in a separate agreement, Content is owned by Creator, but Wham-O receives a worldwide, perpetual, fully paid-up, royalty-free, and fully sublicensable right and license to share, use, copy, process, adapt, translate, display, perform, reproduce, republish, and distribute the Content or any portion thereof in any official social media and digital platforms of Wham-O. Unless otherwise agreed to by the Creator, any use, publishing, or distribution of a Creator’s Content will be accompanied by credit to the Creator of that Content by use of the Creator’s name, likeness, image, username/handle or other identifying representation (to which Wham-O will receive a limited license).
  2. Content is created as commissioned by Wham-O, without limitation as to how that Content may be used now or in the future. Wham-O will facilitate the Creator’s assignment of all rights in such Content to Wham-O. By including #Whamo #WhamoVibes and tagging @whamoofficial in a publicly viewable open social caption/comment where the Content was originally posted or sending the Content to Wham-O’s official social accounts with hashtags #Whamo #WhamoVibes, Wham-O receives the Original Content royalty-free and shall own a non-exclusive license to the copyright for 2 years to the Content and may use, reproduce, have reproduced, edit for length or clarity, publish and exploit such Content in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, licensing the Content to any agent or third party, copying, distributing, displaying, publicly performing, and creating derivative works of the Content.
