Olga is Wham-O’s Marketing Manager. Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, Olga has always had a strong passion towards marketing and business. Her diverse career path includes four years of film-making experience, two years at the financial department at KPMG, and over seven years of international brand marketing experience in both Europe and the United States. This has all led her here to the Wham-O team in the United States after her completion of her MBA at Chapman University.
As the Marketing Manager, she is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization and all Wham-O brands in order to attract potential customers and to retain existing clients.
Her day to day tasks include (but is not limited to):
managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services and liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies
Olga is a lover of sports and is an avid tennis player. Regardless of the time of day, season or weather – tennis is always an integral part of her daily life. She loves movies from Roman Holiday to Inception and TV shows from Breaking Bad to Lilyhammer, and from House of Cards to Law and Order SVU. When asked about her favorite city, Olga couldn’t choose between Kiev and Hong Kong and said the two cities hold a special place in her heart.
In three words, Olga can best describe Wham-O to be: Live, Life and Fun! Her most memorable moment at Wham-O would be the 2-day photo shoot for the up and coming Spring and Summer 2018 Collection.
“Despite the numerous challenges, as a team, we were able to accomplish an incredible project while having so much fun with the products and everyone on set that the traditional fence between work and fun seemed non-existent. And that’s what I love most about Wham-O; not one day is the same as the rest!”
